TRAVEL INFORMATION

Salamanca is easily reached via Madrid following a 2.5 hour train or bus trip.

Madrid-Salamanca by bus: regarding the frequency of the transport, this is the best option.

Buses leave from Madrid every half an hour (non-stop Express buses every hour) from 7.00 to 22.00 h, except on Sundays, from 8.00 to 23.00 h. The bus station is located at Plaza Conde de Casal and can be reached by underground. (Please click here to download the underground map).

The best itinerary from the airport to the bus station can be obtained at www.metromadrid.es by selecting “Barajas” as the starting point and “Conde de Casal” as the destination. By selecting the “less transfers” option, you can print an itinerary with only one transfer.

Madrid-Salamanca by train: trains leave from Madrid at 8.45, 11.00, 13.45, 15.45, 19.45 and 21.30.
